HEBREW MONTH - NISSAN MARCH 30 – APRIL 28 HEBREW MONTH - IYAR APRIL 29 – MAY 27

    NISSAN:
This is a game-changer season. The time is right for redemption; breakthrough; deliverance; restoration.
We’ve used all those words before…so what’s different about now?

Never let the repetition of a prayer, a declaration, a hope…cause unbelief.
Just because we haven’t seen anything change doesn’t mean we aren’t going to.

    • We must not create a theology out of what has not happened.
    • We must not create a theology that healing is not for today just because we haven’t seen as many healings as we want.
    • We must not create a theology around poverty as we wait for our financial breakthrough.
    • We must not dumb down what we believe just because we have heard more than we have seen.

The game changes because God is faithful to His covenant, will intervene and turn things around to align with His purpose. That’s Nissan.

    IYAR:
Time characterizes the month of Iyar. Time is always moving. It’s a certain time now, one nanosecond later, it’s a different time. Time is not static. It’s on the move. There are two words for time – chronos and kairos. We are just living our lives (chronos), then we go through a transition (kairos) and in that moment everything changes.

Check out two people who are living their chronos lives and a kairos happens.

*A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which read, I am blind, please help. There were only a few coins in the hat - spare change from people as they hurried past living their chronos lives. A man walked by, dropped some coins into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it over and wrote some words. He put the sign back in the boy's hand so everyone who walked by could see the new words. Soon the hat began to fill up. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign returned to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, are you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write? The man said, I wrote, today is a beautiful day but I cannot see it. The first sign simply said the boy was blind, while the second conveyed to everyone walking by how grateful they should be to see. Kairos happened for the blind boy and the man who changed the sign.

An additional characteristic of Iyar is “words impact reality.” Changing the wording on the sign affected the boy and the people who were moved to give.

    Nissan and Iyar Declarations:

    • Faith explains what is not apparent.
    • Faith explains the unexplainable.
    • The sign over my life has been rewritten.
    • I am moving into kairos.

DeeAnn and I bless you in this Passover month, no matter what you must pass over, get over, walk through or overcome. We are so thankful for your generous giving, your intercession and your faithfulness to the Lord’s call on your life.

We bless you with God’s timing: time for healing; time for deliverance; time for freedom; time for all good things!!
